Carol Francisco, Ph.D.
Vice President, Biostatistics and Data Management
Dr. Francisco has served as vice president, Biostatistics and Data Management for Affymax since April 2008. From 2000 to 2007, she served as vice president, Biostatistics at ICON Clinical Research Inc., an international clinical research organization. From 1995 to 1999, she was vice president, Biostatistics and Data Management at Pacific Research Associates, Inc. From 1986 to 1994, she headed biostatistics departments at Hoffmann-La Roche, Inc. and Syntex Laboratories, Inc. Dr. Francisco holds a Ph.D. in statistics from Iowa State University, an M.S. in psychology from Western Washington University and a B.A. in mathematics and psychology from W. Washington State College.
